LUngs are clear, thank God. Have a sinus infection. She put me on antibiotics to clear it. I see her again in a week.

And i'll continue to rest.... push fluids....take my inhaler...take my vitamins....and eat lots of veggies......

And i'm sure, sleep lots, too.

Well off to the doc today since i now have some pretty serious sinus pressure even after talking all the right OTC things for it. So i've probbably got some kind of bugnow that i'm over the flu. Joy Joy.

...but maybe I'm actually REALLY starting to feel better. Managed to go without a nap today. Am still up working. Doing okay. This is a singificant improvement. It's been two weeks already--i'm ready to feel better. I know that they say sometimes it takes up to eight weeks to totally regain your health from this darn flu. BLEH. I'm not going to believe it!!! No. No. No. I have far too much to get accomplished in the next six weeks.

Will be ordering boning within the next two weeks, so if anybody has any specific requests for lengths/widths, let me know. Prices for boning is looking to be about the same as it has been for the past year or two. Good news.

Would like to get another frog order out to get before Arisia/Birka. ANybody have any colors they're looking for? I've just received an order of beaded ones. Got some really nice ones in. Prices for those are looking the same.

Circlets with stones will AGAIN be available at my shop starting at Bergental/BBM Yule. Right now I have a Sterling and ruby circlet and a sterling and blue star diopside circlet. I will hopefully have more by the time Yule arrives. Will definitely have more by Arisia. With sterling prices at around $17-18 an ounce, circlet prices have changed. Just a heads up. Not a lot I can do about this, unfortunately.

Will be making lots of silver snoods. Silver seems to be the color of the year this year. Have a new batch of silver thread due to arrive any day now. Thread and bead prices have remained stable, so I will be keeping my snood prices the same as they've been for at least the next six months.

Also have an amazing grape colored thread with silver threads running through it. I have 10 balls of this coming in. (this is the thread that starts at $45 for the plain and starts at $65 for the beaded). IT is that amazingly beautiful, soft, turkish thread with the metallic running through it, not the coarse american thread. This means about 10-12 (at most) snoods of this amazing color which I will be UNABLE to get again. This was the end of a special production run that I managed to stumble into. THis is NOT a stock color. Just a heads up for those of you who I know are purple fanatics :).

I'm down to my last quantitites of the medieval style safety pins. I've got one small basket and then that's it. At this point I've been unable to get additional stock for about two years. Thank God I bought all I could the last time I bought them, but i'm down to about twenty bags total and then that's it. I'm still looking, but it doesn't look good for finding more.

Also down to final quantities on the copper aglets. Again, one basket full and then that's it. I've been unable to find more.

We saw New Moon. I think it is better than the book and also better than the Twilight movie. That's all I can say without spoilers.

I've been sick. Doctor thinks it was H1N1 but didn't actually want to see me. Tamiflu and Albuteral were my friends this week. I'm pretty much over the being sick part, but I am so darned tired and I'm sure that's just the afteraffects.

tired. Spent most of the day resting and trying to work.  Hopefully tomorrow i will feel better.  Still have special orders to finish up that i would like to be out by the end of this week.

Must start thinking about the january restock.  There are lots of things i need for Arisia and Birka.

And on other fronts we're in the waiting time.  Waiting for severance package to go through.  Waiting for cobra to reinstate our health insurance.  Waiting for unemployment to kick in.  Waiting to find out if we qualify for any other assistance.  That after a week of mind-numbing paperwork all designed to make sure you don't get everything right.  (I truly hope I managed to see all the traps and pitfallsand managed to do it all right)

Well, I'll be off for KWCS in a few hours.  The drive should be interesting because I have no spedometer at the moment, and anyone who has driven with me will know how much i'm going to have to be careful.  My mechanic couldn't get the sensor in in time, but all the other stuff--ball joints, control arms, wheel bearings, tires is all completed.  Which is a good thing.  Now to pay for it.  It never rains but pours, hubby loses his job, and my car needs four fairly substantial repairs within as many weeks.  So if you're going to KWCS I'm in room 222, please visit....

Well, I started a Ravelry page today.  Going to work more on it later.  But it made me think that i wanted to document the progress on some of the ongoing projects I've been workign on to recreate certain types of items....So I know this is not of interest to everyone, but if you're interested in seeing my progress on working on beaded partlets, small crocheted bags, and such, let me know and I'll add you to the filter.
